Care instructions
Ceramic is a strong but delicate material. Please handle with care as breakage may occur.
Avoid direct exposure to water and remove prior to participating in physical activities and before bedtime. Each piece should be stored in the box or pouch provided to minimize exposure to moisture and air.
The ceramic component can be cleaned with a soft microfiber cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
What is 14kt gold-filled?
Gold-filled is constructed in two or three layers with the core usually made of brass. Gold alloy is permanently bonded to surfaces of the brass core under heat and pressure. Unlike gold-plating, gold-filled is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight. This 5% is then described by the karatage of the gold alloy.
